Keyboard covering entry field

Hi,

I have about 30 layouts and on one of my layouts I have a problem that the keyboard comes up and over the entry field. On all my other displays the data on the screen is "pushed up" so the keyboard does not cover the field.

I have been trying at assess why it does not work on this display and works on the others- any ideas?

Try to set the following attribute in the relevant activity (with the manifest editor):

SetActivityAttribute(<activity name>,  android:windowSoftInputMode, "stateHidden|adjustPan")

You should open Project - Manifest Editor and add this line.

I also have this issue. It's fine on 5+ devices but seems to affect 4.4 devices. The manifest line doesn't fix things. The form is one that has been dynamically generated as opposed to being in a layout file, could that have a bearing on this? Any suggestions on where to start looking?

It doesn't matter how the layout is created. Android should push the activity when the adjustPan is set.
