Is there an 'old version' of Basic4ppc that will work on the above device.
I don't care about desktop support.
I just want to be able to do very basic programming on the device.

I'm afraid you will be out of luck. The latest OS for the PPT2700 seems to be CE3.05 but I believe that CE4.0 is the first OS version that will support .NET

I'd sort of got that off of google, but no harm in asking.
Perhaps Erel had a version (.Net free) he never advertised

Any other Basic languages that might work
