Protecting Entries

 

The easiest way to describe Protecting an Entry, is with an example.

 

In the above example, lets look at Panel 8. Now, we know that we will need to enter the number "9" in this panel, somewhere.

Looking at Panel 3 and Panel 6, it is obvious that the number "9" in Panel 8 can only go in Square 9.

So, touching Square 9 in panel 8 will highlight the Panel "Light Grey" and the Square "Yellow" like this.

Now, to enter the number "9" as a Protected Number, simply Long Touch the number "9" on the numerical keypad.

This will be the result,

Still looking at Panel 8, it is also obvious that Square 2 can only contain the number "4" and Square 5 the number "6".

These two numbers can now be entered using the Long Touch method.

That leaves Squares 7 and 8, either one of which can contain a "7" or an "8" and the other Square, well, the other number.
