Well, I would say: WAIT.
It can't be so bad if there are perhaps new libraries that move B4J a little more towards the Microsoft world, in my case I mean above all the interface support for Office products. That's just one example. Perhaps it will be possible to build a sensible ‘bridge’ to make B4J more effective.
It's actually like a colour printer with the usual 4 colours (CMYK). This means that only a limited colour space can be displayed. Add GREEN and ORANGE to the 4 basic colours and the displayable colour space expands considerably.
In this way, I hope to perhaps be able to overcome some current programming problems. Hope then you don't necessarily have to be a PYTHON expert to do this, but you can still benefit from the advantages. In that sense, it's a step in the right direction. Let's extend the functionality of B4X (B4J). That's a good thing.
