You can just try out the Commodore Vision OS 3 on virtual machine...

There is version 3.1 just released

I think we can also install B4X IDE on it!

Sure! If you have some bucks to spend.

I also have a RPi4B and I installed Batocera to play retro games.

My point of this post is about the OS and the BASIC programming, not about playing games.

Being honest, I love retro hardware. But have never felt the need to buy physical machines to relive it. The closest I have is a Pi400, which I run the Amiga image Pimiga on, when I want to relive the old days. But I don't really understand the worth of trying to update the OS's for these systems to modern day. Yes, the Amiga was amazing, for the time, and yes, we have fond memories of it, but it's gone. If we're going to write new versions of Amiga software, it needs writing for Windows, Mac and Linux, not for Amiga OS 4.1, which will only ever have a niche audience.
