Android Question Recording incoming voice CALL_VOICE

Hello, I would want with B4A when the phone is ringing to record the incoming voice is there a possibility with audiorecord (without button) ? For example the phone ring and when the voice begin, the voice will be recorded ?Thanks for your help

Not a simple task and unlikely to work on all phones.

You can use PhoneEvents with a foreground service to monitor the phone state. When there is an incoming call use AudioStreamer to record the MIC source: https://developer.android.com/reference/android/media/MediaRecorder.AudioSource.html#MIC

I guess that you want to capture the voice_call channel: https://developer.android.com/reference/android/media/MediaRecorder.AudioSource.html#VOICE_CALL
It is not available to non-system apps.

System app is an app that is signed with the "OS key". This is relevant to device manufacturers or to hackers who build custom roms.

Thank you Erel, then is there anything I can do to capture the VOICE_CALL source, in a personal use only app (NOT for GooglePlay), in order to record my phone calls on A7+ (as it worked in A5) ?
Installing the app in the /system/app folder (on my rooted phone) can help ?

It might be possible on a rooted phone.
