Other What need to change to my APK file take the APP Name ?

Hi,

When I compile in Release mode, I see the APK file generated, but this file name is result.apk

What I need to change to give my APP name to this APK ?

Ex.

SuperMySQL.APK

Make sure your PROJECT name doesn't have a space in the name:

Bad:

Super MySQL.b4a

Good:

SuperMySQL.b4a

But honestly, the APK name is irrelevant, what it matters is the package name.

Note that the APK name is not important. The end user will never see it.

Make sure your PROJECT name doesn't have a space in the name:

Note that is also applies to accented letters. My apk is called result.apk because I use the Danish letter æ in the b4a file.
But as stated, it doesn't really matter except when sharing the apk file with others for testing. Then it makes sense to use a telling name, especially if you share more than one apk.
