It seems I can not get over 1000 users with all my apps ...once this line is reached it hard to go above
Do you experience same with your apps ? ...it looks that the dynamics of uninstalls rise when you get 1000 users ...

Anyway sometimes we expect the app to go up and up ...but where is the limit for an app starting the interest of the app...
An app of mine got 1000 users in 2 month but now after 1 year and half I have 1042 users

What is your experience ? When do app installs saturate ? is there such thing ?

I think there is still some exposure in the markets with new releases, which is how you obtain 1000 users initially then slows. But in this day and age you cannot rely on organic app store exposure. You need to obtain your own downloads and user base another way.

I guess when you got to see your app in top of an well known organic search and get constant installs you should name yourself a happy man ...
it what it will keep the app alive ... luck may be the word for your app to stay and live

Are we smart enough to give to market what it asks for ? and get rid of our old dreams and ideas and work ...today throw it to the garbage and start developing again for your audience ?

Visibility.... A good app is much less visible after a year without updates than a bad one wich is update twice a month!

If an update of your app would put it in the "home page" of Google Play the fact is this; but I suppose a few thousand apps are inserted / updated daily.

it is not about google ...there is something else
I can not think of anything else, since the growth of an app on the market should be constant, unless you intervene by publicizing it.
Indeed, I think that the increase should increase without intervention, only by "word of mouth".

What happens if I do not inform you that your apps are downloaded? I do not have to pay you.

I think it's a bold claim, stating that companies like Apple and Google (combined net worth ~$1trillion) is stealing from its developers.

It's pretty clear now that there are >3million apps on both stores combined that you cannot just say, "well if I upload an app the downloads should just automatically come and grow consistently". This is a naive thought. Both stores have unique complex search algorithms that determine your apps visibility. If your app sucks or just isn't popular then it won't rank high.

Many rich "people" (companies) think they are not rich enough (I will not mention our former Premier).

Given that there are >3millions apps on stores, I think "my app" (I never published apps) can be downloaded by nobody; but if my app is downloaded:
An app of mine got 1000 users in 2 month
it's impossible that then:
but now after 1 year and half I have 1042 users

I think this is statistically very very very improbable.

People and companies are honest...
This is a naive thought

Most my app maintain a relative constant percentage no matter how many downloads they receive.
The more they are downloaded the more active users they receive but they also loose a proportionate amount of active users at the same time.
For example some stay constant at about 10 - 12 percent while others might be at 20 to 22 percent. They never really vary much.

Just to make sure you get the image posted previously that show up the climb of one of my app from 0 to 1000 then from 1000 to 1024 to present
The app is simple and no major improvements were done ... I have only added english dictionary for US users after receiving some bad reviews
