Although I purchased B4A and B4I a couple of years ago, I don't really use them. I tried Android development, but it got too complicated getting all of the necessary tools together, on each PC. The entire process is confusing, at least to me.
But I do use B4J for personal projects, about 30 percent of the time. I love this self-contained and powerful tool, and can't believe that we're getting it for free. It's a great way of accessing the JVM, without all of the boilerplate that Java requires.
Is there a chance of getting a donation page, for B4J? I'd like to contribute, from time to time.
Yeah, I know we can just purchase an updated copy of the commercial tools. But I would like to express my appreciation for B4J directly, if possible.
