B4J Question [ABMATERIAL] read serial chars

I want to setup a raspberry pi 3 with a jetty server that serves pages (ABMATERIAL).
Can I read serial data and show it on a page?

There is no technical reason why not. ABMateial is just an UI layer and the server can do whatever B4J can do.
