Android Question Access a dictionary

I'm trying to find a way of analysing the structure of words for my linguistics studies. For example I want to be able to analyse all words in French to see if they contains a given syllable. For this I need to be able to read the contents of a dictionary entry by entry. Has anyone any idea how I could read a dictionary in B4A? Any dictionary would be suitable. I realize this is long shot but if anyone can suggest something I would be most grateful.

"Strange" question; better, few informations: do you have dictionaries? What type are they?

Anyway, you should/could have a db with your dictionary/ies and perform queries (in your example using the SQL LIKE operator).

Thanks. What I am saying is that I need to access a language dictionary for example Oxford or Larousse
(preferably bi-bilingual but mono-lingual would suffice).

STARDICT dictionary also can used for store other information. it is very quickly,and can manage big data by very less memery.you can use 16M memery manage 15G data.
i have write a library for STARDICT dictionary,they have lots of dictionary database.here is site:
