Android Question Activity.AddMenuItem work fine in Kitkat but Lollipop?

Hi folks.

I have a big mystery situation, that code work great in Kitkat, but in phones with Lollipop does not work. ??????????????

I mean when the user press this button in Kitktat the menu appear, work fine.

But in Lollipop and upper versions of android does not work.

This is not the menu button. This is the recent apps button.

There should be a three dots button in the top right corner for the menu.

There is no MENU Button

Use a ActionBar with menu... See AppCompat-tutorials

In my LG (and many) phones, when you hold recent button for a while, it will act as menu button.
