Activity.height not returning proper value on first create event

I get 38 less pixels than I should

Something to do with it being fullscreen/not showing the title?

EDIT: I tried just adding 38 on the first event, but the canvas I created also read the incorrect value and ended 38 pixels too short

It seems to only do it on my Galaxy Tab, not my Xperia Play....

All I did was set full screen = true, show title = false, and msgbox the activity.height on activity_create

Better yet, I updated it's firmware and the problem is now gone. Must be nice having a bug that's Samsung's/Google's fault and not yours.
