That's the Activity Title (see picture), you can change it if you want:

B4X:

Activity.Title = "My Cool App"

If you create a layout with the Designer then you can set the Activity Title in the Designer.

Otherwise - as already posted - you can set it programmatically.

I removed my text and set the visible property to false but it still shows a gray bar across the top. There must be a way to completely remove or hide it?

Then change the "Show Title" Activity property to FALSE.

Yes that's what I meant to say...Activity Title is set to False but it still shows...how can that be?

You have to also UNCHECK "Include Title" in the designer.
