can it be possible in manifest

Seems you did NOT understand what the result of "going through the link" is. Did you go to the linked webpage and do you have created a custom style file with help of the site. And you have added this theme to your app?

What let you think you need to use a "custom Manifest"? There is only ONE Manifest for each app but yes, it must be slightly changed. There are tutorials about it when you search for them

I created custom style theme with link. downloaded. but didnt know how to use that custom theme...

main question is I am using standard activity title.... no actionbar library...will this custom theme will work for this???

You don't need to use any action bar library. The action bar will appear if the targetSdkVersion is set to 14+.

I tried-n-tried to apply customised theme but no success..
I might be missing something simple step..

I just created another top panel n similar to title n used . Here I can easily add another views, change color/text..
Bottom line is I got which i want...
