Add Controls to an App

I have been told this is possible but not easy.

I would like to make an app which lets users design their own forms. The app would therefore need the ability to place controls like buttons, labels, textboxes, etc.

Would these controls need to be individually programed from scratch or is there a resource which could be included that provides various controls.

I have a basic understanding of VB so would like to get a general idea of what's involved in achieving this.

You can use the regular views. This will save you the need to draw the views yourself. On top of each view you can put a transparent panel. The user will interact with this panel in order to move or resize the views.
