Android Question Adding Ads to apps

I'm ready to start adding ads to my apps and I'm wanting to know what is the best Ad Network to go with and to set up. I have tried Admob and LeadBolt. I found tutorials for both, but neither match up with their website and it must have through me off, because neither worked. Does someone have a small working tutorial/example of how to set one of these up, it would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you for your quick reply. I noticed I skipped a step and when I completed that one I found another error, but I think that is related to a Linux compatibility issue. The program is changing my / to \ . So the paths aren't coming out properly. I may have to try this out on a windoze machine.
