Android Question Adding Image to Panel from Designer

Hi,

I am trying to add an image as background on a panel from the designer. Unfortunately the designer does not list the image file, so that I can choose from the list. The image files are there in my files tab.

Is there any specific reason that the Image name not appearing in the List.

That's exactly my problem.

If you see the Screen Snapshot that I posted, you will find that the picture file is already added and it is listed in the files tab, but I am unable to add the file to Panel. The image file is not listed in the Combo box "Image File" for me to select.

Any idea where I am wrong ?

Tried restarting the IDE too. Unfortunately the Image file name does not appear in the selection list.

You must add the file in the Designer Files Tab!

And the select it as a BitmapDrawable in the Panel Properties.!

It worked. It has to be added from the Designer's Files section. I was playing around with the Files option in IDE

The Files tb you mention is the files tab of the ide itself.
It is NOT(!!!) the files tb from the designer where you should have added the image...

See this image... Left the files tab from the designerwindow. Right (and behind) the files tb of the IDE...
