Android Question Admob on Amazon?

Hi, I am a fan of Admob, it works great for me, but I also make apps for Amazon Fire devices, they have NO Google services / Playstore the dont even have a web browser. I have an app in Amazon App store, that uses Startapp, but they payout from start app is no where near, that of Admob.

So Im wondering, does Admob work on Amazon devices? (by showing different adverts) or have I to stay with Startapp?

Hmmm, i know the ad shows up, but does it generate revenue? as most ads either take you to playstore or a website, and the Fire TV has neither! im just wanting to make sure that im maximising my income as the FireTV counts towards 25% of my users!

Since sometime around December 15th, I believe, my Admob ads no longer show on any Amazon fire devices. I think it happened around the time that the Fire TV and Fire Stick removed the Youtube app from all of their devices. Google and Amazon are fighting right now for some reason.

Did you get much revenue from Amazon Devices? I noticed it was low (to non existant) a while back, and used startapp, but was going to try it again. but if its not working i wont bother lol!

I can't really tell. December is my biggest month by Revenue and impressions so I can't tell yet how much of a difference it is. I've switched 2 of my Apps to Mopub, but(I'm my opinion), they don't pay anything close to what Admob pays.

that's because most of them only pay per install and not per clicks or impressions.

Magically my Admobs ads are working on all of my Kindle Fire Tablets this morning. I've tested 5 of my games and they are all working somehow.
