Advertising graphics for google play - Do you create your own?

I have an app I just finished creating and will be putting it on Google Play. I need to create advertising graphics for it. Like a banner for instance. How many people here actually create their own? I'm not very good creating graphic images used in advertising but I'm going to try I guess. Looking at many of the graphics that are displayed for the apps that are sold on google play, they seem to be professionally created. Do people source out this work instead of doing it themselves? If so what are the costs involved if anyone here has done this? I'm pretty good with photoshop but my imagination is somewhat lacking when it comes to visualizing a picture or image that would represent my application.

I've sourced some on elance. You can get a pretty cheap price (~$100) but sometimes it can be a hassle working with people overseas. However it's a route I highly recommend. Some of the designers will show you a mockup for free on occasion.

I always do it by myself. If you're not good at design, you can find some free mockup PSD file to edit it. If you're totally don't know about design, you can hire someone on Fiverr to do it. I think $10-$20 is enough.

If you don't want to use Photoshop or just want to adjust some simple things. You can use this online image editor.
