I have been looking at the OSMDriod and mapping, i wanted to download the maps from Open Sea Map (OpenSeaMap: Startseite) i had a look at MobileAtlasCreator , but do not seem to be able to make the maps. what i wanted was a downloaded map of the world, i don't need detail i just need the outline of land essentially. does anyone know what i could you for a basic outline.
What i want to make is an app to decode the AIS data stream (Automatic Identification System) and then display the information on a chart (land outline), this would not be used for navigation but i think it would look better having the contacts put in relation to land.
when i tried to make the zip file on MobileAtlasCreator, it wouldn't let me select the world, but i had never used it before so could be doing something wrong. If anyone has any ideas please let me know
