Luca, theyre taking the opportunity to involve their market, its a very shrewd move.

It is understandable that they are able to develop operating systems but they have difficulty in inventing a name; is there an English term that starts with "N" and means "liars", "hypocrites", ...?

Despite this, as Google attempts to conquer the market (although this is already almost done):

Nerone

next versions: Cesare, Vespasiano, Tiberio...

Luca, do you really think Google could not do this themselves? Or are you joking?

I'm joking but also I can not explain well what I mean, in English.

Theirs is a kind of advertising campaign: "Help us find the name" but this is also a hypocrisy, because it is obvious that they do not need.

In short, I do not like.

I think google want just to let people think that everyone is part of android and android is part of everyone.

I like the fact they involed the world with their decisions

Luca, Yes of course, I see your point now.

They DO need people and they know that encouraging them to FEEL involved will help their sales.

At least they`re not forcing their people to do anything. Its an option - a fun one.

but this can be also very counter-productive: how many people will be disappointed because Google will not choose the name they have suggested? Also, maybe they will hate that name.

I dont think people care about the name. More important are the features android 7 will bring.

This act is just a marketing strategy nothing else. Dont take it to serious
