So it was only accepted in this method using the "debug key". Did I get it right? Is another key generated and will it be okay to use debug key in this case? I am currently doing or is it still not allowed to send the debug key also to this method?

Generally it is not recommended to use the Debug Key, i always thought Google Play would not allow you to use it either way. Walter
