I sent an e-mail to my phone with a .TXT file attached.

When I ask to download this file, Android asks what APP I want to use to open the file. What do I have to do to download the file diretcly to the SDCARD, instead of opening with an APP ?

It should be downloaded already, in the sdcard/download folder.

The file is there, thanks.
The second question is how can I avoid Android to ask about the APP to open the file. I never have/want to see its contents, only the APP I am developing.

If you;re using an email app it may be in the settings to not auto-open the file.

Personally I access my email through the browser which doesn't do this.
