Android Question android is preventing my app from sending sms. HELP!

hi, can someone tell my how to bypass any restrictions on android?

here is my scenario.

My app is sending GPS info every 2 mins and can be set to 5 or 10mins intervals. i was able to use it for almost 12 hrs straight without any problems when suddenly my app failed to send any sms from within. the sms shows as failed on the default SMS app. If I resend the sms using the default app it sends without any problem.

my test unit is Asus Zenfone 2 ze551ml.
Android 5
B4A 8.3

If i change the #ApplicationLabel to something unfamiliar to the OS it succeeds in sending the sms then fails eventually.

now i know its not with B4A. i just cant find in the settings of Android to mark or unmark my app.

Please help me on this.

It is possible that you run into the hourly limit of sending SMSses

Youcan try https://www.xda-developers.com/change-sms-limit-android/ but i don´t know if this is still valid with newer Androids

I see. this makes sense. for the 12 hours straight i did not intervene with the sms count it sends at 2 mins interval so meaning it only sent 15 sms in 30mins. but a while ago i tinkered with the sending of sms and forced it to send as many as 10 in 2 mins span.

I will observe the app after an hour and let it rest for now. my brain needs some nap time anyway

EDIT: it started to work again.

EDIT2: android totally blocked my app from sending sms. not even 1 sms in 1 hour. I think its already a setting in zenUI or with android itself and I need to find out what it is. Please help!

nevermind. i changed the phone number from 09 to +63 which is the country code for the philippines and is now working.
