Android Market Registration question

I registered with Android Market for Developers and got a developer account. I see the page where I can upload my app. However, on the bottom of this page there is section about Google Checkout->Setup Merchant Account.

Do I also need to set this up (Google Checkout)?

I too have set up an account but I haven't used it yet so this could be wrong. I think the merchant account is for selling apps, to process payments and setup the details of how it gets to you.

You have to set that up if you are planning on selling apps.
