Helen, it's been over a month since your post so I wanted to know how you like the android tablet you purchased? I'm looking for one to buy, was hoping the price would come down some in US $ Thanks, Rick

Hello Rick,

Got the tablet some weeks ago, but the plug of the power cable broke within 1 day. Just got a new cable so I could start testing again.

Can say that it's worth it's money. Good touch screen - easy to download from the market - etc. I also am happy with the cover with keyboard and stylus. Wifi and GPS (external) function fine.
The screen size is really great, so much easier to handle than the phone's screens.

There are some issues with the Superpad 3 (eg. in the setting there is no connect to PC option and both my Windows laptops don't recognize the tablet, my HTC Legend does recognize the tablet).
Untill now I decided not to do a Rom update, red a lot about issues that appeared for a ROM Android 2.2 update.

When you do a Google search for Android 2.2 tablets 10 inch you will find them for US 130,= (without cover). Quite easy to buy in China, Singapore, etc. Some standard apps are not installed but with some searching you'll find them.

Success and I would like to hear what you plan to buy.

Greets,
Helen.

Hi Gary,

I'll have to check them out..... I see a 7" for $ 92 (but no bluetooth), so the prices are at a good starting point ... now if I can just find one like that with bluetooth.

Thanks,
Rick

Make sure you look at the "new products" area... they don't always cross reference to the "Android" tab..
