I was wondering if anybody had any experience using Complications or to be more precise Android Wear Complications Data Providers, all I need to access is the the Google Fit steps counter.

You can access the device built-in step counter by using PhoneExtra library, but that's not the recommended anymore as that only counts the device steps and not the connected device account steps.
What I actually need to do is connect an Android Wear device to Google Fit, thus all the users devices will read the same steps and not just the steps from its own device. Google Fit adds and calculated all the steps on devices and give you a synchronised step count, watch, phone, tablet and in theory browser (I've not tested the browser) but all the other devices show synchronised steps.
I tried using Inline code but to no avail.
