ANPR (aka license plate recognition)

Hi,

I'm very interested in ANPR within B4A. Our company writes software for parking control companies and we could use this 'yesterday'.

Perhaps some of the more experienced users here can 'translate' a free JAVA version of ANPR to work with B4A?

I'm very new to this Android/Java market. I'm a very experienced VB.Net developer though .

So no, I'm not familiar with such a Java library, but according to Google there should be some around (free and not free).

Reviving this thread, because I found something that is relevant.

Found one free java library. If someone could convert this to b4a then I would be super thankful.

Could be useful for some people. In some countries (like Sweden) we have full access to the license plate information. For example I could find a random car and then see who the owner is and if the car is leased or not.
