Hello,
I would like to advertise in mobile apps using Google's AdWords.
That is – I will create a banner ad that will be displayed in other's apps. If a user clicks on my ad it will lead to the Google Play store listing for my app.
I have been playing with their interface, but I have a few basic questions.
For mobile device banner ads I see 320x50 and 300x50. Is either format best?
They have changed their "Landing Page URL" to "Final URL" with a "Domain" reference. They keep on talking about pointing the domain to your website and the Final URL has to be in the same domain. I want the user to be redirected to my app listing on Google Play, if they click the ad. Is this possible?
I wonder about the color scheme for my banner. It's just going to be simple text – maybe four words. Do you think white text on black background, black text on white background, or contrasting text on a gradient background would be the best format?
Thanks for any input.
Barry.

- I will run a very short campaign – maybe one week.
- I will spend a small amount – less than $50 USD.
- I don't really expect any significant results – may be a a few more visitors.
- I'm really just playing around to see what happens.
