Android Question appcompat.ACActionBar.setUpIndicatorBitmap > NullPointerException

I use the appcompat.ACActionBar.setUpIndicatorBitmap and sometimes receive NullPointerException from customers

the code to a toolbar.menu.clear and in time of execution it would go through this line
