The Guardian application is a life activity tracker without violating the privacy of the smartphone user under your care.
The main thing that the program does is save the date and time of unlocking the phone screen (or answering calls, if permission is given), and send it to the server. So, it helps the Guardian to be aware that the Caregiver is alive and using the phone.
Two operating modes of the program:
1) The guardian sees only a notification in the notification area, through which you can open the application and press the emergency call button to your Guardian
2) The guardian can enter the Guardian's app ID in the settings (from the Guardian's settings) and see how many days, hours and minutes ago the Guardian's phone was in operation.
It is not necessary for the guardian to allow access to phone calls.
In addition, if you enter an emergency phone number, the program will help you quickly make a call to the Guardian, or vice versa.
Phone numbers (if entered by the user himself) are stored only locally in the program and are not transmitted anywhere via the Internet.
Preventing the device from falling asleep is not used, i.e. the application practically does not consume battery power, but only records the time when the screen is turned on.
Optional function: save the GPS coordinates of the Caregiver once, but only if the battery charge has dropped to 10%.
Geolocation permission and enabling the option on the Guardian's phone are given by the Guardian only manually, in the internal Settings dialog.
