Android Question AS BlinkTextView visible property

The following property does not seem to work:

txtBlink.mbase.visible = False

Have to use:

txtBlink.text=""

to make the text disappear.

The work-around is OK, but was just curious as to why it does not work.

Because I use the setvisibleanimated function

Instead of empty the text and re add it again, just change its color in a time or whenever needed you will have the blink effect even better. I would do it in labels
