Hi All,

I am using a VPS to run the webserver created from B4J. I want to assign a domain name for the service that is running. Is there any way to do that. Kindly let me know.

Best,
SK

Hi Erel,

yes, I have a vps so I have a static IP address. What do you mean by registrar. If I want to assign to a sub domain then how can I do that?

Best,
SK

You must have a domain name or share a sub domain. Then setup the DNS record.

Generally there are two types:
1. Domain (example.com) and sub domain ( sub.example.com). And you need a DNS service.
Name.com, Domain-Registration and Creating-A-Records

2. Public sub domain (free/paid) service (with DNS service ).
