I faced a horrible thing today, in the middle of designing my layout with designer, my laptop stopped working and there was no choice but force-shutdown!
when it booted, i opened my project and tried to open that layout using designer, but it started to show error. it was saying that "Error loading file..." and i realized that i have not saved the layout after modifying it. then i opened broken layout file with notepad and surprisingly it was empty! i think that was because of serializing/deserializing technique used for handling file stuffs in B4A IDE.
no more words, finally i had to recreate that layout from scratch and that was hell of a job :-/
So, i wish there was a auto-save or auto-recovery feature (like Visual Studio) to save our layouts' lives.
