Android Question Automatic advance on a timline

Hi all
I have a timeline ex: 1980----1985----------1995--1998------2005
When I press the start button, time automatically advances from 1980 to 2005. dot by dot.
The dot turns red when the time is on it and returns to normal when the time is up.
At each point where the date is displayed, there is a beep sound.
When we are at the end of the timeline, we start again from the beginning.
The user must press a stop button to stop the movement.
Do you have any idea how to proceed.

This is an application for the tourist office of my municipality.
I do it for free.
This project must be done for 0€ otherwise it won't work.
I can't ask @Alexander Stolte to work for free.

I live in the middle of a natural park which is free to access.
I proposed to the tourist office to make an app that explains the creation of the park from the beginning until now.
This is why I need a timeline and be able to add or remove events.
The events are sound and images.

Well I usually decide that based on how much it brings B4X forward when I release something, would be nice to have a B4X Reference in a Natural Park.
e.g. I wanted to offer my AS_Settings View against payment, but since the view makes the development of apps with B4X even faster, I decided against it.

Something like that.

TimeLine.png

Each time the cursor arrives on a date, a sound is played and an image or video is displayed.
The cursor advances with a timer.
The project should run in landscape mode. All photos and video are in this mode.

I just need to advance on the timline with a timer and activate an event when the cursor is on a precise position

Update
  • Works in B4I now
  • Add AutoPlay
You can now start auto play. With a custom duration per item too. Just Add the item with AddItemDuration if you want a custom duration for the item.
