Hello, do not know if it's normal, but "B4A 3.0" consumes between 30 and 40% of CPU, doing nothing. Is it normal?

Thanks and regards.

Well I do not know, previous versions did not happen, so I was surprised.
Thank you.

Hello, I tried disconnecting the connections to the devices and the result is almost the same. (Between 25 and 35% CPU)

Hi again, when I start B4A, the CPU consumption is 0%
If I load a project with 5 activity the CPU consumption is 8%
If I load a project with 28 activity the CPU usage is 34%

With no connections to devices.

Greetings.

You are looking at the wrong spot, that %APPDATA% means your profile, for example, assuming you have Win7:
B4X:
C:\Users\<YOUR_PROFILE_NAME>\AppData\Roaming\Anywhere Software\Basic4android

You'll see the b4aV0.1.ini, then near to the bottom you'll see this line: BackgroundGuiThreadInterval, increase its value.

I am sorry, I do not know well "Windows", I have always worked with Unix and Linux.
I have made the change that you have shown me (I've changed '1000 'for '5000') and has now greatly reduced the CPU occupancy.
Thank you very much.
