Hi!
I just updated from B4A 5.2 beta into 5.2 release and now when I try to type my code, there is a lag of one to two seconds between I press each key in my keyboard, and the letter appears on the screen.
I tried to speed things up by selecting the Disable Implicit Auto Completion (under tools / IDE Options) but the lag is still here.
This did not happen on beta version. Is it just me ? I am running windows 10 x64 as a virtual machine, with plenty of resources, on vmware fusion (in a MAC retina, i7, 16gb ram, ssd, etc.).
It is *almost* unbearable. Anyway, I got to keep coding Hopefully Erel, you can give me some directions on what to try.
Regards,
Quique
EDIT 1: I just seen that an earlier thread, titled about the same but stating the problem on windows XP, quickly expands into all other windows versions. So this post has become irrelevant. I could not delete it, tho. Sorry
EDIT 2: I turned off the virtual machine, got into its settings and disabled 3D hardware. Now it works OK, even with Implicit Auto Completion turned ON
