CustomViews do not have Elevation Property on the visual designer (??)

P.S: seems only Panels have the new elevation property

That's correct. Elevation property was only added to panels. You can put any other view inside the panel to get the same effect.

Yes, I know but if we want to set a separate elevation (2nd plane) to a view inside the Base Panel, we have either to use javaobject or add it to anothe Panel just to get the elevation .
