You're ARE NOT having a B4A issue, that sound like a system issue to me.
If I were you, I would first make sure that ALL your software is up to date.
I'm running a couple of i7 (6th and 7th Generation) laptops with 1TB Samsung SSDs and 16GB RAM, NVidia GFX, Windows 10 Pro.

@BillMeyer am also using B4A 8.3 and I also get betas when Erel release them. I've never ever ever had any issues like what you are explaining, this is no bug.
Make sure that all your software is up-to-date, and if you're still having issues, I would uninstall and reinstall B4A, but I really can't see B4A being the problem here.
Make sure that you are using the newest B4A SDK Manager.
