I'm very interested in this.

I also prefer the black background, it's what most ads are shown. I think it looks far better in black.
In my games (and I'd say in many many games) all the fadings are in black, for me a black fading is a must. Or at least the posibility to choose...

It looked promising after a few hours when it suddenly boosted to a few euros.

The rest of the day, 1000+ impressions and almost 100 clicks later, it was still at the same earning value.

I need to evaluate it till the end of the week(end) to have a better view on it but it seems that this earn per install method ain't the right one for me.

I think this need some time to works, like adbuddiz, 4 or 5 days, or x views.

In order to see eCPM, there should be at least one app install coming from your traffic (impression --> click -- Install). So I don't know how many impressions will take you to reach one install. It depends on your users. But in average you should see at least one install after 2,000 impressions.

so if you don't have 1 install in a day with 5000+ impressions and 500+ clicks you still get 0?

I see an eCPM value but it keeps dropping while the impressions and clicks keep increasing.

when I compare it to admob, same day same app (not all users have the new version installed apparently)

displayIO: 1500 impressions , 132 clicks
Admob: 5520 impressions, ONLY 67 clicks

the earnings there are a bit more on admob while I don't have a clue if there was an app install involved.
if I add the "transferred" users to it it's maybe near double in earnings.

usually every 100, 250 impressions you see your earnings go up a little even if it's only 1 cent due to the increacing impressions and the current RPM.
I don't see this with Display.io.

But like I said earlier I will evalute this completely on Sunday or Monday.
If I loose too much compared to Admob then I'm forced to move back to Admob but then I've given your system a valid chance including improvement hints.

Although I prefer the overlay method and speed of this library compared to the jump-out method of admob.

Hi, We can create ad unit with a black background easily, we will do that next week and let our optimization system test and choose the top performing ad unit.

The last night i put the display io on app exit.

Like @Boaz Display.io Rep. said. around 2k views (per app) will start see ecpm, with 1,049 i get $0.58
i will give some time.

(i got some clicks here, to get clicks on display io its easy, i think because dont have back key and you can touch on any part of screen, diferent of admob)

for now i use admob + display io.
if i have news i will post here

Views 5,938 | Clicks 1,727 | Revenue $1.15 | ecpm $0.19 (only in one app for now)

If admob get clicks like display io

An update after letting it do its job for a week...

I went back to admob for my current apps.

In my case the earnings were not so good ($6 for the full week) and lead to too much loss compared to the constant earnings admob is giving me.

This is mainly due to the pay per install model which sometimes resulted in earning $0.00 on a day even with 1800 impressions and 7% click through rate.

I'll give it another try on the next app as I won't lose anything on it.

There is no minimum currently for Paypal payments.
For WT the minimum is $50

Did you read lastest documentation? It's changed. XML file is correct.

BTW @Douglas Farias , how is the eCPM and fillrate compared to adbuddiz?
Now I have over 2K impressions / day and my eCpm is around $1 with them. And the fillrate... some days they have no ads to show on some countries (like Spain, where I have a lot of users)

The fillrate its very good compared to adbuddiz, on adbuddiz i made only 200 views day because dont have ads on brazil.

i m using display io for now

- the fillrate its 99% i think, i m using admob + dysplay io (my apps on admob make 18k views) in display io make around 18k too (adbuddiz make 200 views ¬¬ because dont have ads to show)

- The ecpm its not very good, its around $0,20 - $,060
but i m understand, its a new company need some time and new advertisers to make a good ecpm.

i think i will not back to adbuddiz, the ecpm its low but the fillrate its good.

display io already changed enough things indicated by myself and other programmers on the site and the library. this is good

PS: i m using display io on app exit and when dont have admob ads to show, I'm not using as principal, the principal remains the admob
