Android Question B4A and Actian Zen (Formerly P.SQL)

I am just not able to connect and retrieve data from the DEMODATA database that is distributed with Actian Zen v 15.

A simple text app to test the connection to Actian Zen shows that the connection to DEMODATA is successfull so the drivers are there and are working.

However from B4A I have no success. Not even getting any errors in the log that I can work with.

Does anybody have a simple app that can connect to DEMODATA and Add/Edit/Delete a record from any one of the table please?

The specifications of Actian Zen v15 specifications indicate that a remote connection can be made with ODBC. The first step is to use a program such as Database Browser to check whether you can open and edit your database via an OBDC connection. It is not clear from your post whether this will work.

Once you manage to open, edit and close your database with, for example, Database Browser, you can use the connection parameters used to gain access to your database with a B4A program via OBDC. More information about JBDC program solutions can be found with a JDBC search

Thank you vert much for your reply. The ODBC link is working fine but I see I need JRDC2 to connect to the ODBC driver. I cannot seem to find a link to download JRDC2.

Simply enter JRDC2 as a search term in the search bar at the top right and close with a return. In the first result you will find the JRDC2 driver in the first post after the explanation.
