B4A Bridge crashes

Runing B4A-Bridge v1.01
I can connect to the phone running Bridge, but when I disconnect Bridge crashes with "...Not Responding.." message. The device is running Android 2.1

Can you connect your device in USB debugging mode?

yes, USB-debug mode is enabled and I can connect. the problem occurs when I disconnect.

The problem occurs when you disconnect the bridge, right?
If you can connect with a USB cable then you can try connecting with both the bridge and the cable. Now you can check the logs by connecting through the cable and see what happens when you disconnect.
