Beta B4A-Bridge not available via Bluetooth in 5.0#4

The option to connect to a device with B4A-Bridge via Bluetooth has disappeared, at least on my machine.
Is this permanent, or do I need to do something to enable a Bluetooth connection?

B4A-Bridge over Bluetooth is not available in v5.00 (see the release notes: https://www.b4x.com/android/forum/threads/b4a-v5-0-beta-has-been-released.54179/#content). It may be reimplemented in the future.

Until when we can expect a B4A-Bridge over Bluetooth solution? I am working a lot with the Bluetooth option in B4A-Bridge.

There is no release date. I'm not sure that this feature will be implemented at all. There were many problems with this feature.

There are two better alternatives: B4A-Bridge in wireless mode or USB debug mode (which most phones support).

Just for the record, I find it useful. On occasions, I can't use USB (running portable) and don't have wifi, so BlueTooth is the only remaining option.

Thanks Erel for clarifying the things. I can live with the problems having with bluetooth. IMO there will be no need to improve the bluetooth connection, but having one would be a great feature. Like Troberg, I am a part of my developing time not in the office and I don't have wifi. I will give the USB option a try...
