Hi. I am trying to connect B4A-Bridge to a computer in a wifi network. Naturally either the tablet or the computer are logged in. In the tablet, the IP address is 10.74.255.104 and it is different from the Ip that I am used to see, usually of type 192.168.xx.yy. I don't know the reason, but with the above Ip B4A-Bridge refuses the connection.. Any hint? Thanks in advance.

I have seen that documentation, but, sincerely, it is not clear. For example I don't see any way to "activate usb debugging". Hope to find it. If you tried it, it means that it is possible. Thanks anyway.

That option is located in your device's Android settings \ Developer options

Do you have the "Developer options" entry in your Android's settings ?

Android settings

And inside the "Developer options" menu, a slider to enable USB debugging

Yes. By the way, I have Portuguese Tablets (If I remember well you are Portuguese, so you can help, probably). In Samsung Galaxy Tab, under "Opções de programação" there is only one option related to USB. I am not Portuguese, but the word "debugging" should be familiar for programmers, but there is nothing with that name. I activated the "Depuração de USB". Of course there is no "automatic recognition by the IDE", as indicated in the manual...

Just to close this "incident", and let it be constructive for future unexperienced people, the option "Developer" is not commonly present among the Settings of Android devices. For this reason, the explanations given in "Beginners Guide" need a prerequisite. Otherwise you need to go on Internet and find the reason why the "Developer" (or something else related to local Lanquage ) doesn't appear in the Settings. As a matter of fact, in two tablets, I didn't have the Developer option and was frustrated. If you commonly use B4A-Bridge, commonly you don't need it. To make the Developer options to appear, it is necessary to go on the Device specifications (normally last item in Settings), where Android compilation data are present, and tap on the number of compilation for some times. At each time it will appear a message showing a decreasing counter of steps to become a programmer. After four times, if I remember well, the Developer options will appear under System title. At this point, the Beginner's Guide instructions apply. In my experience i restarted more than once the IDE, but, anyway, everything works well, at the end.
