With B4A-Bridge v2.36, the wifi connexion does not work any more (device : galaxy tab 4). On the other hand, on two others devices (V2.30 and v2.31) it works fine...!

In tools/B4A Bridge/Connect the IP of the device is visible : Samsung SM-T230-198.168.1.20 F2
When i try to connect (F2) : Ping failed (IP= 192.168.1.20) ...
With the 2 other device , it works fine.

No changes in firewall and router ...

Why, if it is a network problem :
- the device (Samsumg SM-T230, Android 4.4.2) is seen by B4A, but the connexion fails ?
- with Samsumg GT-7510 ( android 4.04) the connexion works ?
- with HUAWEI ALE-L21( android 6.0) the connexion works ?

The only difference between these devices seems to be the version of B4A-bridge ...!

As I wrote, the ping feature has nothing to do with B4A-Bridge.

You can try to ping your device from the command line.
I had the same error. I restarted the computer and the smartphone: still the error. With another smartphone: still the error. Then I pinged the device from the command line, then no error, success. Thanks Erel !
