v2.30 update removed FTP port address message. The port 6781 still works, but who would know?

The address was removed as it caused confusion. There is a new File Explorer menu that will open Windows Explorer with the correct url:

Really? The bridge program is used for other things than just talking to the debugger or IDE. Since it's FTP, other machines (Windows, Linux, Mac - not running the IDE) have the ability to monitor or modify files used by a running B4A program. You can, of course, make the bridge program less useful, and more proprietary, but why?

The bridge program is used for other things than just talking to the debugger or IDE.

B4A-Bridge purpose is to help developers develop with B4A.

You can use it for other purposes and you can even modify the source code and create your own version that shows the port if you like.
