Having a rought timw with the bridge not connecting. Got it to work a couple times, now wont connect at all via USB or WIFI. No error message, just will not connect at all. ADB seems to work fine, virtual device works fine.
Droid 2 device shows the IP address in the client program, not wont connect.

Any ideas? I went through the forums and tried everything I could find, no luck at all.

Obvious stuff, but be sure of the following:

* Phone or tablet is connected to your home wifi
* Be sure the bridge app is running and listening for a connection
* In B4A, tell it to connect, entering your device's IP address.

I use DHCP reservation in my router for my phone. This way, the IP address never changes. If you are only using the default DHCP without reservation (or a static IP address), then you will have to make sure you are entering the correct address into B4A so it can find your phone. If you don't use DHCP reservation or a static IP address, then you will always have to check the current address assigned to the device before you enter it into B4A.

Hope this helps.

Yes, been through all that a few times. IP is dynamic, but has not changed all day, and I tried rebooting wireless router, computer, and phone. Still no luck. Seems odd it worked at first, but then quit after a few tries. Anybody know what ports it runs on? May need to make sure I don't have anything using the port traffic. I have some neighbors who are Microsoft programmers with a lot of wireless networks too.

Fixed. Moved my desktop computer from hard-wired (to the wireless router) to a wireless adaptor. Works fine now. Something to do with wireles vs wired network and the Windows XP file security I am guessing... anyway it works fine now. No iea why it did work breifly..
