Without seeing your code it's impossible to give a concrete advice !
Can't you post a small project as a zip file showing the problem ?

Here you are.
Attached a modified version using the Tag property of the buttons.
You are using a very old version of B4A 3.20 !?
You are lucky, I still have it, but you should think of updating it is really the money worth !

Again got stuck with Get value and set value for EDITEXT, can you guide, or please give if any document available, it shall be very helpful.

There is no such document. NO NEED as you have the SOURCE of the Class
