I find it very convenient to have a version of B4A that runs on an Android tablet. This way we would not need to have a PC or LapTop for the development of Android-applications.
You could use a VM running B4A on windows on something like AWS or Azure, then run it when you need it and RDP to it. Costs money, but gets what you want.
Quoda supports VB syntax highlighting which is close enough to B4X to be useful. The IDE Tools -> B4A Bridge -> File Explorer facility makes copying the files too and from a device very easy.
Interesting. But I have found if you edit the basic files it is ok. But if I edit and change a b4a file with and outside editor the ide will no longer open the project

There is nothing special about the b4a files. You can edit them with a text editor. Maybe the editor used the wrong end of line characters (should be \r\n).
